Cinnamon Honey Tea Recipe

A warm, aromatic tea made with cinnamon and pure honey. Perfect for a cozy evening.
Makes 1 cup.

Ingredients

1 cup water, 1 small cinnamon stick (about 1 inch), 1 tsp black tea leaves or 1 tea bag, 1–2 tsp pure honey, 2–3 thin slices fresh ginger — optional, 2–3 drops lemon juice — optional

Method

1. Boil the cinnamon:
Add water and cinnamon stick to a saucepan. Simmer for 4-5 minutes to release the cinnamon flavour.
2. Add the tea:
Add black tea leaves or a tea bag and steep for 2-3 minutes.
3. Strain:
Strain the tea into a cup and remove the cinnamon stick.
4. Add honey:
Allow the tea to cool slightly, then add 1-2 tsp honey and stir well.
5. Finish:
Add a few drops of lemon juice if you prefer a slightly fresh, tangy flavour.

Recommended Balance
1 cup water + 1 cinnamon stick + 1 tsp tea + 2 tsp honey
For a stronger cinnamon flavour, simmer the cinnamon for 6-7 minutes before adding the tea.

Tip
Use a cinnamon stick rather than cinnamon powder for a cleaner, smoother cup.

It’s a beneficial oil to help slow things down to take stock of your feelings and emotions.
